Privacy policy
Your scan results are health information. We keep them private, only use them to look after you, and never sell them.
FluxBody Composition Scans (ABN 17 871 261 962) handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your name, email, mobile number and, if you give it, your date of birth.
- Your body composition results from each InBody570 scan, such as weight, muscle, body fat, body water and InBody Score.
- Your bookings and whether you've paid. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details.
- For venues and workplaces: the contact person's name, email and phone number, and the venue's address.
How we use it
- To book and run your scan, and to send confirmations, reminders and follow-ups by email and text.
- To show your results and history in your FluxBody portal and compare scans over time.
- To run challenges you've entered.
- To tell you when we're scanning near you, if you've asked us to. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who sees your results
- You, and Ayden, who runs FluxBody.
- Your results are also stored in InBody's systems, which is how they appear in the free InBody app.
- Venues and employers never see your individual results unless you say yes. In challenges, people who keep their results private are ranked anonymously. Workplaces only see totals and averages.
- Schools see class totals only, never individual students' results.
- We use trusted services to run the business (secure hosting and database, email and text delivery, payments, our calendar and booking records). They only use your information to provide those services to us.
Keeping it safe
Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems. The results portal uses one-time sign-in codes rather than passwords, and only shows you your own results.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
- You can change whether a venue or challenge can see your results from your portal.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link for anything that isn't about a booking you've made.
